Covid Vaccines

Vaccinations are being delivered according to priority groups identified by the Joint Committee of Vaccination and Immunisation. The vaccinations may not take place here, but rather a local vaccination service (led by GPs, practice nurses and community pharmacists) who are responsible for delivering the vaccine to people in your community. When it is the right time for you to receive your vaccination, you will receive an invitation. We know lots of people will be eager to get protected but we are asking people not to contact us to get an appointment as you will not be able to get one until you are contacted.

The faster you know, the quicker you can alert and protect your loved ones and community. It has a number of tools to protect you, including contact tracing, local area alerts, and QR venue check-in. The app does this while protecting a user’s anonymity. Nobody, including the government, will know who or where a particular user is. click here to download the app and for more information

Dr Linnard Retiring

Dr Linnard will be retiring from the practice at the end of June. Dr Linnard has been a GP at Rustlings Road surgery since 1998 and will be incredibly missed by the team but we wish her all the best for a long and happy retirement.
Due to the current Covid 19 pandemic Dr Linnard has not been able to see or speak to as many people as she would have liked to but sends all the patients her very best wishes.
We will have a new GP starting with us in the summer and will update you in the near future.
